I’m Dreaming About the Roli Roti Porchetta Sandwich and Roasted Potatoes ~ from Stranded Foodie

A few years back, I discovered the Roli Roti mobile rotisserie food truck in San Francisco where I indulged on their incredible porchetta sandwich. This sandwich is made from perfectly roasted pork loin that’s been wrapped in pork belly, and stuffed with herbs. The pork is so tender and juicy and the crunchy and salty skin is killer. They add a sweet onion marmalade, and some arugula to the sandwich for a slight bitterness. And the smell is intoxicating! Now that’s seductive pork perfection. I almost forgot to mention that you can also have roasted potatoes on the side, which are cooked below both the chicken and porchetta and seasoned by the drippings. Oh my, doesn’t that sound good? Should I stop now?

If you haven’t had this porchetta sandwich, you have to add it to your foodie-to-try list and see why it is the best. It’s street eats at it’s finest! Roli Roti uses only sustainably-farmed meats and organic produce at their seasonal best. Their rotisserie chickens are also fantastic, but my favorite is still the porchetta. Head out to the Ferry Building early before the line gets too long. Then you’ll see why people wait for this heavenly bit of pork goodness.

Here comes my heavenly bit of pork goodness!

Oh my, it’s killer!
